About the Play:

Being the perfect hostess is not easy. Just ask Pam. It's a fine art of pearls and gowns, repartee and knowing the difference between the maid and cook. So when the cocktail party she is hosting descends into an evening of too many flowers, green drinks and divorcees she realizes the evening is not going to be as smooth sailing as she would wish. Part cocktail party, part play - this evening at Pam's is going to be entirely quirky, crazy Canadian fun.

Pam Cochrane (Female, 30 - 50's) - High strung, perfect hostess
Julius Cochrane (Male, 30 - 50's) - Pam's dutiful, witty husband and cocktail experimentalist
Rita (Female, 18 - 25) - Panicky, incompetent young maid
Cynthia Dallas - (Female, 18 - 30) - Lovely, ingenue actress
Leon Bandelier (Male, 30 - 40's) - Pam's playful, "man about town" brother
Sara Black (Female, 30 - 50's) - Imposing, intense socialite snob & Pam's best friend

Virgil Black (Male, 30 - 50's) - Sara's husband, and also an intense socialite snob
Dr. Max Powell (Male, 35 - 50's) - Earnest and logical internal organ doctor
Denise Powell (Female, 35 - 50's) - Simple and buoyant wife to Max
Lily Johnson (Female, 25 - 35) - Self-conscious, nerdy and recently single
Estelle Washington (Femal, 30 - 50's) - Temperamental divorcee

Musical theatre performers and actors! We want you for our Hallowe'en and horror based musical theatre classic scenes & songs for these epic cabaret nights that are full of tricks and treats.

Experienced singers/dancers of all ages are encouraged to submit.

Gaslight

Description:

A reimagined, female - driven Victorian Gothic thriller that focuses on one woman's journey from psychological terror to self-preservation.

Roles:

Bella Manningham (female, 20's - 30's) - protagonist, anxious and suffers from mental abuse from her husband. Finds the strength to save herself in this unique and updated version of Angel Street.
Jack Manningham (male, 30 - 50's) - Bella's husband - handsome, charming and charming exterior masks his malicious and controlling true nature.
Elizabeth (female, 50 - 60's) - The sturdy faithful observant housekeeper. Plays a crucial role in the play.
Nancy (female, 18 - 25) - A young maid. She is impudent, saucy and conniving with a palpable contempt for Bella and a suspicious relationship with Jack.
